She Stroke 22!!!

Few months after the release of Taylor Swift's lead single from her latest album, Red, the singer's fourth single, 22, was released on air with its music video.

As Taylor claimed that '13' was her lucky number, she specially released the song, 22, as a single on the 13th of March 2013. The music video may stun you and let you dance poppy, just like Taylor in it, along with the hot music on air.

Written by Taylor Swift herself, with the help of Max Martin and Shellback, the song lyrically showed exactly how her feelings worked in 2012, while the singer aged 22. Coincidence or on full purpose, no doubt to say it's the latter. The genre of Pop and Dance-Pop only reminded us about the changes Taylor made, some liked, some just simply pissed it off. Well to me, she's still as great as ever.

The music video was first premiered on GMA on 13.3.13, it was starred with Taylor's real-life best friends, fascinating, huh? My friend, Ronin Lim, once thought that the video would be out on 22.2.13. Hence, he searched up and down, but still, nothing was found. The four-minute video has a Danco essence, it started with Taylor's solo dancing, ended as she fell into the pool literally for fun.

Taylor Swift along with a number of her friends appeared in loose T-shirts and mini skirts, dancing with freedom and happiness. "You don't know about me, but I bet you want too" as Taylor sang, she showed her feelings in the year she aged 22, which was last year, really well.

OK, here's the music video and its lyrics, figure why I say its Danco essence make people dance while enjoying the song!

(Verse 1)It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipsters
And make fun of our exes, ah ah, ah ah
It feels like a perfect night for breakfast at midnight
To fall in love with strangers, ah ah, ah ah
(Pre-Chorus)Yeah we're happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time
It's miserable and magical oh yeah
Tonight's the night when we forget about the deadlines, it's time
(Chorus)Uh oh, I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22
Everything will be alright if you keep me next to you
You don't know about me but I bet you want too
Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we're 22, 22

(Verse 2)It seems like one of those nights, this place is too crowded
Too many cool kids, (who's Taylor Swift anyway? ew) ah ah, ah ah
It seems like one of those nights we ditch the whole scene
And end up dreaming instead of sleeping
(Pre-Chorus)Yeah we're happy, free, confused and lonely in the best way
It's miserable and magical oh yeah
Tonight's the night we forget about the heartbreaks, it's time
(Chorus)Uh oh, I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22
Everything will be alright if you keep me next to you
You don't know about me but I bet you want too
Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we're 22. 22
(I don't know about you) 22, 22
(Bridge)It feels like one of those nights, we ditch the whole scene
It feels like one of those nights, we won't be sleeping
It feels like one of those nights, you look like bad news
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
Oh, Oh, Yeah

(Final Chorus)I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22
Everything will be alright if you keep me next to you
You don't know about me but I bet you want too
Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we're 22. 22
22, 22 (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Bridge Repeat)It feels like one of those nights, we ditch the whole scene
It feels like one of those nights, we won't be sleeping
It feels like one of those nights, you look like bad news
I gotta have you, I gotta have you

The Human Being—A Complex Organism

Human beings are complex and special organisms as there is a complex organisation of cells in the human body. The organisation in the human body is summarised as follows: Cells—> Tissues—> Organs—> Systems—> Organism.   The same type of cells which carry out a specific function are organised into a tissue. For examples, a group of muscle cells form a muscle tissue while a group of nerve cells form a nerve tissue. They are organised to work together to perform specific functions as the result of cells in the human body do not work individually.     An organ is a group of tissue that cooperates to carry out a specific life process. For examples, a group of muscle tissues, epithelial tissues and connective tissues form blood vessels. Several organs are organised into a system. Each system consist of several organs which are organised to carry out life processes such as respiration, reproduction and digestion.     Various systems in th...

I am Euan Thum. This is my story.

No one is born a leader, but no one is born to stay shy and quiet forever too. I was a timid and unconfident boy who grew to celebrate individuality.  I discovered my passion in poetry in high school and I never stopped exploring what I can create. I co-founded a society in college to share the love for poetry and had organised poetry recitals to help others discover its beauty. My poems have now been featured in several international publications and journals.  During the global pandemic, I released two poetry collections for charity, which have raised more than RM1k combined! Poetry was an incredible flotation device and artistic outlet for me during the pandemic, and being able to share my art with the world allows me to connect with others in ways I never imagined before.  Over the years, I became committed to enrich the community around me through volunteering and fundraising. This propels me towards fighting for important causes in our society including wildlife con...

Working With Passion

I've long worked behind the lens. When I started experimenting with photography almost a decade ago, I was heavily criticised for the wrong angles, the misfocused subjects, and my pointless artistry. I tried and tried without proper equipment or professional guidance, but the determination to validate my photography skills had kept me going against the currents of criticism. In the midst of helping others 'capture a moment', as I would call it, I saw myself starting to request for similar photos to be taken for me, in hopes of keeping memories of my own in photographs. One person told me once, 'You're kinda like a model'. That was about 4 years ago, when I had finished high school for a couple of months. My hair was flowing a little freer than before and I had more time on my hands to run around Johor Bahru with my friends, looking for adventures and photoshoots. That 5-word line was an inspiration I did not see coming. In fact, I did not realise it had done the...
