A Different Holiday

Going abroad always makes a perfect holiday. But if you have a chance to spend your holiday at the deep, vast ocean, don't you think it's kinda great idea too? Cruises can be your first choice to have a special holiday like this. You can definitely have your holiday and fascination as you can travel at the crystal clear sea with so much facilities and fun on board.     My father made a decision to take us on a holiday at sea for 5 days and 4 nights. So tomorrow, we're going on board this gigantic and luxurious ship called Costa Victoria, which is an Italian cruise ship. Excitement has made our luggage packed a few days ago.     I can't deny that I'm really excited and a bit nervous too as we're going to on board the cruise ship in a couple of hours. I want to watch seagulls flying freely above our heads and unravel the secret of the bright blue sky. I hope to watch a better and wider sunrise and sunset everyday. I wish to......     ...

Lego, Lego

Yeah! I was so glad that I actually got a chance to visit Legoland Malaysia, which was just a stone throws away from my house. It was really huge, crowded with people as it had so much fun that you could enjoy with your beloved family.   Legoland Malaysia, located in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru, is the first Legoland in the entire Asia. People from everywhere are coming here since its official opening to the public on the 15th of September 2012.     Legoland was crowded with people as it was the year-end holiday. All of them were queueing up to buy their tickets from the counters,        This was one of the most favourite rides for the visitors. I'd believe that almost everyone must have tried this four-wheeled card roller coaster before 'cuz it was absolutely fun and "creepy".       4D movies!!! How many times in your life that you can watch this kind of movie? Well, this was my second time. Although the system in A' Fa...

Fang-tastic Ever After

Time was considered unlimited when Bella switched to her beautiful red eyes. But, forever had just been severed by when Bella realised that all of them were going to die as Irina, who was one of the relatives to the Cullens, reported the wrong and horrible information to the Volturi.     Irina was actually a member from Denali Coven. Her mate, Laurent, was killed by the werewolves, and it's the reason she hated them. Irina went to Forks and tried to make peace with the werewolves when she saw Bella, along with her half-human, half-vampire daughter, Renesmee, as they were hunting around.     Irina thought Renesmee was an immortal child, which could destroy a whole village if it lost control. Recalling the death of her mother and little brother in her mind, she reported what she saw as a crime to the Volturi, which was like "The Vampire Police".    The Volturi got furious and they quickly went to Forks with the intention to destroy t...

Bella Switches Red-Eyed Style

Can you imagine that the story of "The Ugly Duckling" comes true in The Twilight Saga? Well, it happened when a clumsy teenage girl, Bella Swan, turned into a sexy, gorgeous vampire in the fifth movie, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, which was also the epic finale of the saga.     From Twilight to Breaking - Part 1, we watched the story of Bella as an extraordinary human. Sneak peaks of her being a vampire was just a little. But in this very last movie of the saga, which was released on the 16th of November 2012, all of us can watch Bella, being an ultra-hot vampire.     I'd watched the movie and I could believe that everyone in the cinema wowed as they were totally surprised with Bella's incredibly strength, speed and her special ability- Mental Shield. Just as you could see, Bella's bloody red eyes, which was the most common proof of her as a newborn vampire, had made her even more fanciable.       Now let's talk a bit about Bella's daugh...

So Now, It Ends

My Japanese Fortnight, which was from 14 November 2012 till 18 November 2012 had ended yesterday. At first, I thought that I could do more posts than what I'd done in these two weeks. But I didn't.     I do feel unhappy for it as I couldn't reach my goal. But still thanks to those who read my blog as you gave supports and helped me to increase my pageviews. Next year, I may do another Japanese Fortnight too. But of course, I'll do it better with more posts, with deeper Japanese style. Please do supports! And again, I really want to say "Thank You" to all of you from the bottom of my heart.     By, Euan Thum.

Sugary Rune

Have you ever heard or watched an anime called Sugar Sugar Rune ? Yep, that one with lots of pinky crystal hearts. And just because of this, this anime seemed to be a girlish anime. Ugh, come on, just like this and you called it girlish? It's still unisex 'cuz there are plenty of fighting scenes in it which boys will definitely love to watch.     Sugar Sugar Rune tells us the story of two girls, Chocolate and Vanilla (weird, huh?). Both beautiful girls were chosen as the candidates of the next queen in the magical world as they needed to collect colourful hearts from humans. These hearts aren't real hearts, they're all made of kinda magic, and the girls can get magical points from collecting them. Then when the time comes, the girl with the most magical points will become the next queen.     The situation is so different when both of them come to the human world. One of the most favourite person of all times in the magical world, Chocolate, becomes the pe...

FAIRY TAIL

We talked about animes last time. I'd mentioned Doraemon , Cardcaptor Sakura , Yugi-Oh! and Hitman Reborn , right? Now I would like to talk about Fairy Tail. It is my favourite anime of all times so I decide to make a new post for it.   The story of Fairy Tail started when a 17-year-old blonde, Lucy, met two "extreme funny" persons, who have the name of Natsu and Happy. Many things happened after they helped Lucy to join the strongest magic guild in the kingdom of Fiore, Fairy Tail. The master of the guild, Makarov, who appeared as a short, old man welcomed her warmly with his open arms.   Lucy met friends there, like Gray, who has the bad habit of accidentally stripping; Loki, a womanizer with a strange secret and Cana, who uses Cards Magic and enjoys drinking alcohol every single day.   Under the master, there are five super-strong mages called S-class mages in their guild. First, there is Cana's father, Gildarts, who is the oldest one. Then there i...

Animation Rules Japan

HO-OH!!! Attention to all animes-lovers. We gonna talk about them this time. I'm pretty sure that we'd talked about them once in July, right? Let's us have another one now.   For the past centuries, animes had been created in Japan. Japanese people first drew mangas, which meant comics, and they turned them into TV shows. Let's us analysis some of them now—>   Doraemon . Everyone love it!   I would believe that this "blue-racconish" figure didn't miss its role in our childhood, did it? Most of you are rather familiar with the funny and fascinating story of Doraemon and its friends, aren't you? And I wouldn't deny that I am also a fan of it.   Sakura Kinomoto, the main character of Cardcaptor Sakura , has the sweetest smile of all times. This 10-year-old little girl had accidentally released a set of magical cards, and then she had to take the responsibility of finding them back. How tough and dangerous her adventure could be? Let'...

緑茶の伝説

Green tea is a very common beverage in Japan. It is usually served warm so that we can get refreshment and also get rid our thirstiness.   緑茶 (グリーンティー) is the Japanese word which means green tea. Just like its name, green tea is in the colour of light green, just as the colour of young tea leaves.     People in Japan drink green tea almost everyday. When they're having breakfast, lunch or dinner and when they are serving their visitors at home, green tea has never misses its roles. Every different piece of tea leaf can bring us a different kind of fragrance, and I guess this is why people love green tea.     The love for green tea has made Japanese people to fuse green tea with different kinds of things to create new kinds of food such as ice-cream, shaved ice, cake and many other kinds of desserts.     And now talking about desserts, there's a kind of Japan's very own sweet, which is called Wagashi. It is well-known as the sweet...

日本の第二友

9 November 2012, is my last day in school for the year 2012. It's a bit special because I joined an activity, where a few students of a school in Japan came to pay a visit to our school.   My school, English College, which appeared to be a 98-year-old man this year, had opened Japanese for the past decade. So, that's the main reason why we have this kind of activity every few months. This was the second time for me as my first one happened a couple months ago, which was a visit by students from Anochyo Highschool in Japan.   It was Kakeya Highschool from Unnan City, Japan this time. Their students arrived at our school neatly in their usual uniform at about 8am in the morning. Our Japanese teacher, Azah Sensei, paired us two by two as partners and we led them to the Mini Auditorium to have some introduction and performances.   The guide of their school and our Azah Sensei took turns to give speeches and the details of this activity. "This is the second ti...

A Japanese Cafe

A sudden craving for Japanese food (but not Sushi) brought my family and I to Kodomo Art Cafe, which is located in Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru. We didn't waste much time to look for this cafe as it is just beside the only Affin Bank in Permas Jaya.     This air-conditioned cafe is beautifully decorated in green and white. Adorable bonsai, creative designs of tables, chairs and lights. All these creamy issues had succeeded in attracting our eyes. If our very own eyes can be attracted, so could yours.        Two common dish and beverage from Japan, Cawanmushi and green tea. One makes you feel mouth-watering while one gives you refreshment. Don't forget to to try these two things if you enter the restaurant.       Can you see the pink book at the bottom of the picture? It's the menu of the cafe. Don't you ever underestimate thin little book 'cuz it has so many information of the shop inside, like pictures of di...

Elegant In The Pinky Charm

Sakura flower is the national flower of Japan. It only blossoms right after the freezing cold snap of the snowy Winter, in Spring.   It is not considered easy for plants to keep growing during Winter and make its beautiful flowers blossom after that. But Sakura had never failed to give itself a mark of success to it.   Most Sakura are in the colour of light pink, some of them may also be beautiful in red, scarlet or lavender, while some glow attractively in the essence of silver and pure white. The flowers look undeniably pretty at all time in Spring so no wonder there are plenty of people gathering at Sakura parks, having their delicious picnics and enjoying the serenity made by the Sakura flowers every year in Japan.    Do Sakura flowers give out any scent? Well, that's a good question.   The answer is yes! But not too strong. Sakura flowers can give out a passionate scent. Lovely, peaceful and calm. Yep, nice.   The beautiful Sakura flower, wh...

A Japanese Fortnight - 2012

Ever since I went to my secondary school, English College, which is also known as Maktab Sultab Abu Bakar, and attended Japanese class, I don't feel Japan is a stranger to me anymore. So I think it would be a good idea if I have a special and exciting Japanese fortnight on my blog.     Japanese animes, mangas, food and drinks, events and many more, Japan never fails to have all these things in the most fascinating ways they can be.   Pretty excited and nice to know about Japan, right? So don't miss my Japanese fortnight which is from today, 4 November to 18 November!   Please do support and really thanks for that! By, Euan Thum.
