Gee

It has been only a short time for people to craze for K-Pop. And me, not a fan but still I know some of the must-know Korean songs.   The first Korean song that I had contacted was Wonder Girls' Nobody . I found this song interesting when my friends sang it as their performance at school few years ago. I love the rhythm. It's fast, poppy and somehow rappy too! though they danced weirdly on stage.   It was a long pause for me to hear any Korean songs since that time. Em, maybe two years? Them Gangnam Style came into the world. The chorus sounds great, but I don't like it. I mean, the song, the singer and more. Just like I said, I don't like things that many people like. But you know what, Taylor Swift's Begin Again turned out to be first song to dethrone Gangnam Style from its 5 weeks continuation top billing.   So instead of loving this song, I fell for the dong, Gee , by Girls' Generation, which I only heard at the same period when Gangnam Style wa...

Badgy Glory

I am a badges collector. I really like them. So of course I have plenty of them at home, kept at a secret spot. They were some collected by my brothers, and some by me. I take good care of them, yep, no lie at all.   I am a student from English College, so are my siblings. We have a few badges released by the school which passed down the ages till now. There are four with me, maybe there are some more out there in the house. The school will be turning 100 years old next year, a 'Grandpa-school', I could say.   Remember the post I made earlier, The Grease Musical? I mentioned that I got (brought) two badges there. I never buy badges, not if it's not a special occasion like this. But they weren't as expensive as I thought it would be. SMK IJ Convent owns many beautiful girls in its compound. And yet, they do gorgeous work. You see the white one with a kiwi on it? It was last year's International Understanding Day held by the Convent Interact Club, themed as New...

Blue Is Better Than Yellow

Blue and yellow. Two different colours, two different names, two different stories, two different movie, but blue, is better than yellow.   Two famous animation movies were being displayed cinemas all around the world . Obviously, they were Despicable Me 2 and The Smurfs 2. Big-eyed Minions who craved for bananas were the mascots for the former while blue little men starred in the later. So what do you say, yellow Minions are cuter or blue Smurfs are cuter?   Well, to me, Smurfs are definitely cuter! Just look at their attires: white soft cotton-made hats, pants and shoes. How soft and cute that they look. Compare to the Minions old faded blue coveralls, weird glasses and gloves, undoubtedly Smurfs are winning. Listen to their voices, the tiny men in blue speak English so clear and as for the experiment outcomes, they speak Alien language, how can you ever understand them?   So if you like the Banana-song, sing it to me completely! It's hard, right? But if ...

The Darkest Night

It was the ninth night of the Chinese Ghost Festival, I was at my brother's apartment, with my mother. My brother came back from his university, had his dinner and he brought us out for the movie, Smurfs 2.   We passed by Putrajaya, it was enlightened with gorgeous lights that shined and twinkled. My brother told me that it was a really beautiful place as its construction was flawlessly planned by the government. Yeah, I thought so too and I thought the venue looks a lot like Paris, France, which is one of the most graceful city in the world. Then we watched the movie. Hahaha. It was hilarious! and the blue little creatures were damn adorable, so much more than those yellow "Banana-Minions". Blue's undoubtedly better.   It finished at 12:45 in the morning. We , as well as the other audience, stepped out of the cinema and into the silent mall. The three of us marched at a regular speed all the way to my brother's car. The lights were absolutely dim in a w...
