Incredible Things

Well, Taylor has always been in my life since young (P.S I am 16 now :P). I have always admired her music, her lyrics, her STYLE..oh I have just mentioned it again, didnt I? I really cant get this song out of my head since I have bought the album-- plus she is promoting it as a single now! Can you ever imagine my craze for it??!   Well speaking of incredible things, even though I do not have any direct connection with the song Blank Space, I have to confess that I look at it as the great little things in life which other people might eventually miss out. Well just name it- the 65 polaroids, the secret codes of every Taylor's song, the sound of her heartbeat in Wildest Dreams or even every single pair of classical red lips Taylor has shown us, especially in the Red era. These are beautiful corners in our memories that must be kept and cherished.   Taylor has inspired me in ways of thousands of millions. I am a Blogger and you may see her lyrics or the message she w...

This Perfect 'Sick Beat'

The seven-time Grammy Awards winner, Taylor Swift, with that bewitching and fascinating combination of strength and vulnerability, has undeniably transformed herself into one of the most inspirational singer-writer of this generation. The American blonde, who turned 25 last December, had struck yet another massive success with 1.287 million copies of her fifth studio album, 1989 , sold out in its first week of release. The album broke numerous records as the 19 th album in music history to achieve more than 1 million first-week sales, and even succeeded in surpassing the Frozen: Soundtrack to be the best-selling record in the year of 2014.   Inspired by the remarkable music produced in the 1980s, Swift blends her very personal and daring song-writing prowess into the genre of Pop, making an album louder and poppier than anything she had ever released before. Her act has been noted as a dare shift, for it is a verily risky decision to make, to put her reputation on an unp...

The Sole Survivor (Version 2.0)

Water, water was everywhere! It choked me, salty. It was the sea. I blinked hard, but the more I did so, the more intensely my eyes ached. I was poised between life and death. My memories flooded in my mind like a kaleidoscope… my family, my friends, my job, my life… I thought I was to lose them all. Now that I realized that life could be so fragile and short, my heart beat in a chaotic rhythm. I seemed to have lost everything I had in a blink of an eye.   The sun was setting down faster than ever and the water turned cool. I tried to keep myself afloat as smoke and hazardous debris surrounded me. I prayed that none of them would explode. I had cheated death once, and I would not dare hope for a second miracle. I grabbed a large brown piece of floating debris which looked like a wooden board. With the last bit of strength left in me, I climbed onto it. My eyes, still blazing with pain, slowly closed as I blacked out.   I did not know how long ...

The Sole Survivor

Water, water was everywhere! It choked me, salty, I could tell. It’s the sea. I blinked hard, but the more frequently I did so, the more intense my eyes ached. There was a vision, when I thought that hope and luck were not on my side anymore- I was poised between life and death. My memories slowly flashed in my mind like a kaleidoscope… my family, my friends, my job, my life… I thought I was to lose them all. Now that I realized that life could be so fragile and short. My heart beat in a chaotic rhythm. I seemed to have lost everything I had in a blink of an eye.   Debris of the plane floated around me, the sun was setting down faster than ever, the water turned cool as darkness crept over the azure daylight. I waded my fatigue arms across the vast, deep ocean, trying to keep myself afloat. Smoke and hazardous debris surrounded me. I prayed that none of them would explode, I had cheated death once, and I wouldn’t dare hope for a second attempt. I grabbed onto a large brown pie...

Why I Want To Be A Journalist?

I live with the firm conviction that journalism is a noble profession. From the various media the reporters present their works, the flames of my admiration towards them are still fanned as they have always inspired me holistically.   The news is undoubtedly something that trends as the whole globe spins. There is always something new happening, and journalists won’t stop chasing it. I would say that it is like a kaleidoscope that reflects our society to the people; yet it’s like a flawless stream of knowledge that flows through the streets into our minds.   Remember the mystery of MH370? Mean but true, I ponder if the reporters should be blamed for their failure in not being able to convey their worries and sorrow to me, as their words seemed only stern and dull. Only if I had been offered the golden opportunity to explore more about what had really happened, I would have had the genuine chemistry of grief passed down to my readers. A professional writer who is adr...

STOP!

Gone are the days when doctors, toddlers and even Santa Claus advocate the merits of smoking. There seem no denial that these characters stand at a high position on the people's favourite list and would simply gain trust from them. However, as the Malaysian Health Ministry has recently set a few more non-smoking areas throughout the nation, the public is once again prompted to look into the seriousness of the negative effects caused by tobacco.   It is surprising that many people fail to notice that the prices of cigarettes only seem affordable in a day-to-day basis. In fact, tobacco smoking affects smokers economically in a long term. If a smoker adds up the expenditure on tobacco in his entire life, the results would be simply soul-executing to bring forward the curse of poverty. There is a saying from the Internet: A puff of smoke burns away a sparkling gold coin; A forest of cigarettes burns away a golden coast that shines. Let's say if you smoke 2 packets of cigarettes w...

Monkeys Alert

A debate on can wild animals be kept as household companions had been struck on in Malaysia.   Sights of domesticated tame animals like parrots and guppies are slicking off the radars, as a mischievous trend of keeping the wildlife at home is swirled into the nation.   According to a survey done in Johor Bahru, many has agreed on rearing wild animals at home strikes on bigger challenges compared to tame animals. Despite a massive financial need is required for animal food, the owners hunt back an incomparable joy from the immense cuteness of their 'pets', which they can never find elsewhere. A few respondents stated that they feel livelier having fun with wild animals because they don't seek attention much. Pythons, spiders and foxes are among the bewildered youngsters' top choices.   Wizards from the Harry Potter world are even known for keeping bizarre creatures. Fantastic beasts like Kneazles and Crups are on their longing list.   Fancy f...
