The Changing Faces Of Ringgit Malaysia

I'd truly believe that most people had seen before the new Malaysian coins and the RM50 notes, which had been out for months and years. Our Bank Negara declared that the rest of the third series Malaysian notes would be out on the 16th of July 2012, which was yesterday.

With the theme of "Distinctively Malaysia", the back of the notes are printed with beautiful images of nature, history and heritage of culture in Malaysia such as the hornbills, the Rafflesia flowers, the Wau and so on.

And after more than 2 decades of keeping away the RM20 note by Bank Negara, they are now back with the colour of peachy orange and the picture of Leatherback Turtles.

The new notes are printed in different colours and with awesome images. Each of the new coins is also made of different metals, crafted with fantastic pictures that own meanings and names which are Sulur Kacang, Bunga Melur, Motif Orang Asli and Destar Siga.

Working With Passion

I've long worked behind the lens. When I started experimenting with photography almost a decade ago, I was heavily criticised for the wrong angles, the misfocused subjects, and my pointless artistry. I tried and tried without proper equipment or professional guidance, but the determination to validate my photography skills had kept me going against the currents of criticism. In the midst of helping others 'capture a moment', as I would call it, I saw myself starting to request for similar photos to be taken for me, in hopes of keeping memories of my own in photographs.
