My School Is Haunted !?!

A 100-year-old school is old. My school, English college, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is turning 100 years old in 2014. As it was built about a century ago, the Japanese were there during the Japanese Occupation too.

According to the record, the school building was painted black and used as a factory at that time. After that, it was a military hospital for the wounded British soldiers. And yeah, many of them passed away right there.

Block B, the double storey block, is one of the oldest blocks. This block is pretty famous for paranormal cases as it used to be the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the military hospital. When we were in the classroom downstairs, we could often hear strange sounds like footsteps and chairs or tables being dragged around upstairs even though there's no one in the classroom up there.

Teachers and students' ghostly encounters in this school, especially at Block B, had made the records longer and longer. Many people don't believe in these spooks. But what if they are real? Just wait and see.

Working With Passion

I've long worked behind the lens. When I started experimenting with photography almost a decade ago, I was heavily criticised for the wrong angles, the misfocused subjects, and my pointless artistry. I tried and tried without proper equipment or professional guidance, but the determination to validate my photography skills had kept me going against the currents of criticism. In the midst of helping others 'capture a moment', as I would call it, I saw myself starting to request for similar photos to be taken for me, in hopes of keeping memories of my own in photographs.
