Titania 妖精女王

The daily cool breeze blew through the saddening atmosphere, her scarlet silky-straight hair danced with full grace. She opened her eyes and took a glimpse at the evening sky, which was polished in a spectacular shade of red alike with her hair. It’s her, with tear in her eyes but still look as invulnerable as her usual self, Erza Scarlet. (*the short story continues to the next blog: 騎士の緋色栄光)   Being one of the S-Class mages from the guild Fairy Tail, Erza is a selfless but somehow proud lady who takes the guild as one of her burden and responsibility. She switches armors and weapons with her strong and powerful magic base, which won her the title, Titania, throughout their nation. But of true unfortunate, this picture perfect woman simply has a petrifying past and a crush of love with a man who once sank into the deepest state of darkness.   Along with her nemesis, Mirajane, Erza Scarlet is an S-Class mage in her guild Fairy Tail. She might not be the...

Origami 折り紙

It’s a piece of art we’re talking about. That you use papers to make models and shapes. Creative, extraordinary, artistic.                         People might say that art is nothing, paper folding skills are nothing, Origami is surely nothing to be worth of for you to see or to learn about. No! In Japan, Origami is on the list of their cultures and it’s also one traditional skill that many youngsters enjoy learning. Notable model made in Japan is paper crane, which represents luck, hope and peace.   Other kind of animals like fish, butterfly and many more are usually folded using paper too as they still stands a gorgeous side of traditional culture in the modern era of Japan.   Not only animals, other things like plants, flowers, hearts, stars are also pretty famous in being chosen as the model to be folded using colourful papers. It seems like the Japanese ...

Candy With The Bliss Of Green Tea

You take a sip of the traditional Japanese green tea, and it tastes awful. Bitter. Then something next to the cup catches your attention. It’s a small cute bowl with some tiny bits of colourful dough in it. You take one and try. And you’ll never ever forget that sparking moment.                                            It’s called Wagashi. The sweet accompanied by green tea to be taken. It takes extraordinarily sweet and blissful, normal eaten after a big sip of green tea, as to overtake the latter’s bitterness. Small and cute, they are available in plenty of shapes, types, flavours and colours. Looking great. They do look completely adorable. :3   These candies are made of flour, sugar and more. Their flavours come either from flavour essence or natural plant juice. I d...

Run Devil Run

I’m not that person to be in love with any foreign-languaged songs, like Korean or Japanese. But due to the influence from my classmates, Girls’ Generation proved me that their songs are the best foreign-languaged choices for someone like me.                            Well, you know, I’m not obsessed with K-Pop at all so only three of their Korean songs attracted me. But for their Japanese songs, I’d listened to most of their hits! And I’m telling you my favourite ones.   When I heard Galaxy Supernova , their second latest Japanese single, it’s like, something really different, the rhythm is poppy, catchy and it really makes me wanna dance with the girls. I like that song song very much and I even had a blog for it. But something that I’m not satisfied about the song is its music video ‘cuz there is no solo scenes of them and the whole video somehow ...

Teru Teru Bozu

Have you ever heard about the Teru Teru Bozu (てるてるのが坊主 in Japanese)? No? But perhaps you’ve seen one before.                  Teru Teru Bozu is a cute, white, ghost-like doll. According the Japanese legends and the people’s beliefs, this “spooky” doll is able to prevent raining days and bring the bright sunny sun out if you hang it near a window. But it’s just a legend, you don’t need to be upset if it doesn’t work.   This doll appears in many animes throughout the whole nation and also overseas. People might have some images or recollections of it in their mind but do you know its name? It’s called Teru Teru Bozu. Guess what? I think it’s a weird name. It somehow too long, but who cares?   Do you have something like this hanging by the window at home? Is it looking through the glass at the balmy morning or is it trying to turn its head so it’s looking at you? To scare you, probably. Now it’s remin...

Well, good question. The Skip-Ahead Moment

Taylor Swift released her song which features Ed Sheeran, Everything Has Changed , as the sixth single from her latest album, Red . And I thought that’s all, only six. But the news about the release of her seventh single really shocked me.     It’s the track after the song, Stay, Stay, Stay , featuring Gary Lightbody from the band, Snow Patrol, in both recording and lyrics-penning. It has a heavy aura of country, twining around both the genres of country rock and country folk, making it an utterly different piece of rhythm compared to the past works this 23-year-old American singer-songwriter had ever done before. It is believed that all reasons for this difference made were her tremendous musical improvements, impressive breakup elements, great partnership with Gary Lightbody and her very own changes made for intense love.   The song begins with Gary’s solo section, then them both together for a duet. Their voices fitted in flawlessly as they played the magic of...
