Oh no! Exams! Many students' greatest fear is examinations, so is mine. An exam is a test to see how much you know about a subject or what you can do about something. Most exams have challenging questions and that's why we hate exams.
I, Euan Thum, just thirteen years old this year, but I have to take more than ten subjects in school. It's a bit difficult for me to truly understand what the contents of my textbook are in Bahasa Malaysia. But for other subjects that are in the language of English and Chinese, of course they're much easier for me.

Exams, who invented you? Many people think like that and you might have guessed, me too. I don't really like exams. It's true, I study to be clever and knowledgeable, not to score in my exams.
This year onwards, Form 1 students will not be taking the PMR exam. The government had declared that we would have a new examination system which would be replacing the PMR exam with a new examination called Pentafsiran Berasaskan Sekolah (PBS).
The level of proficiency of PBS is graded from Band 1 to Band 6.We have to take the tests almost everyday in school. Even if we have answered wrongly, we could have three oportunities to change the answers. But if we can change the answers, what are the tests for?
But let us look at the other side of things. Things are done to make our life better. Exams have their own reasons too. Exams can let us find out how much we have learnt about something. They are nice, but everyone hate them. XD
